Dr. Kelsy Printz is originally from the great state of Maine, where her family nurtured her love for animals, allowing her to have in her life a variety of creatures including dogs, cats, horses, goats, rabbits, guniea pigs, turtles, and fish. In undergrad, because she enjoys adventure and seeing new places, she decided to transfer to the University of Findlay in Findlay, OH to continue her studies in their pre-vet program. From there she graduated with a Bachelor of Science, double majoring in Pre-Vet and Biology Life Sciences and minoring in Chemistry, and was well groomed for entering into The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine the following fall. As fate would have it, she would begin dating her classmate Trent, who would become her now husband and business partner. Today, they own Englewood Animal Hospital together and have enjoyed growing both as veterinarians and business owners. They have a daughter named Adalee and multiple fur babies (as most vets tend to!), along with a number of beef cows. Beyond her career and spending time with her family and friends, Dr. Kelsy enjoys traveling, reading, writing, wine, and a good action adventure movie. Her professional interests include preventative care, dentistry, ultrasonography, and soft tissue surgery. In the future, she looks forward to becoming apart of the One Health Initiative in the fight against the Rabies virus.
